How Banfield is paving pathways to success with workforce education
Banfield Pet Hospital is committed to delivering on its purpose: A Better World for Pets. But also notable is how the company is making a better world for its people as well. The company is the largest preventive veterinary practice in the U.S., with nearly 20,000 Associates and more than 1,000 hospitals in neighborhoods across the country.
Banfield believes in removing barriers to equitable education and creating meaningful career growth and pathing for its Associates. That's why the practice has partnered with InStride to expand its Educational Pathways Program to provide its Associates with access to even more academic programs at no cost including marketing, IT and general business degrees.
Watch this video to see how workforce education can transform the way businesses, like Banfield, engage with their Associates by creating deeper connections, providing equitable opportunities and delivering meaningful impact for all.
“Having a company stand behind you and say ‘I want to give you more,’ it empowers people. Before this program, I never would have thought that I would to able to afford to go back to school. Having it be paid for and being able to have a bachelor’s degree in life is heartwarming," says Chelsea, Shift Lead and learner at Banfield.
