Nick Greif is the Chief of Staff & Vice President, Communications at InStride, which drives business and social impact by enabling employers to provide career-boosting education to their employees through partnerships with high-quality academic institutions.
Prior to InStride, Nick was Senior Manager for Public Policy at Motional, a $4B self-driving vehicle joint venture between Hyundai and Aptiv. There he led policy development and public affairs for state and local government. Nick also designed and launched Motional’s Corporate Social Responsibility platform,
Motional for Safe Streets.
Before Motional, Nick was a public sector Chief of Staff at the City of Los Angeles where he set strategic vision and direction for an elected office and managed the twenty-four-member team. In that role, Nick orchestrated project delivery and execution on major initiatives including the largest children’s college savings account program in the nation, California’ largest micromobility program, and the largest public art program in the City of Los Angeles.
Nick began his career as a management consultant for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, contributing to finance transformations, mergers & acquisitions transactions, management training programs, and shared service process improvements.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and is currently pursuing his Executive Master in Business Administration at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
